Setting up a payment terminal is done through the Tendy Merchant Dashboard. This setup process involves configuring your payment processor and adding your payment terminal device.
IMPORTANT: Please note that Tendy currently only supports Clover and Moneris, and setting up your payment terminals will require your specific information from your payment processor user account/administration portal.
Configuring Payment Processor and Access Tokens
First, you will need to log into your Tendy Merchant Dashboard.
Navigate to the Locations tab in the left sidebar, and select the
Integrations sub-tab.
Now, click on the PAYMENTS tab and select your payment processor from the drop-down menu under "Payment Processor".
Enter your Access Token, which are provided by your payment processor.
Adding Your Payment Terminal Device
Under the "Payment Terminals" section, click on Add New Device and a popup window will appear.
Input the required information for your terminal:
Terminal name
Merchant ID
Terminal serial number
Toggle the switch to enable or disable the terminal.
Click SAVE to complete the setup.
