October 2025 - Release Notes

Updated over 2 months ago

We’re constantly striving to improve your Tendy experience and this month, we’ve got some exciting new updates and fixes on the way. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

New Features & Enhancements

Dashboard

  • Cost Change Visibility in Purchase Orders: When processing a Purchase Order (PO), you'll now be alerted if a product you are replenishing has a changed unit cost.

  • A list of all products with cost changes will be displayed.

  • You can click the product name to go directly to the product variant page to adjust pricing.

  • You can also temporarily hide the warning using an "ignore" button, or collapse/expand all warnings at once (expanded by default).

  • Plant/Strain Type in Reorder Report: The Reorder Report now includes a new column showing the Plant/Strain Type (e.g., Indica, Sativa, Hybrid) for easier inventory reordering.

  • PO Total Cost Calculation: The purchase order process now automatically calculates the total cost of an order.

  • Tendy Template Export from PO: Updated the tendy export functionality so there are no longer 2 export buttons in different formats. Only the tendy template export remains.

Bug Fixes

Dashboard

  • Sales Summary Cost Total: The main Sales Summary report view will now display the total cost of goods within the report summary table. (Note: This total was always correct in the export file, but is now correctly displayed in the dashboard itself).

  • AGLC Compliance Export Formatting: We've corrected a formatting issue in the AGLC Compliance Report export to ensure the last column correctly displays as a currency, preventing upload issues for the merchant.

  • Inventory/Active Stock Discrepancy: Resolved an issue where some products showed mismatched "Units in stock" and "Active stock" numbers even when lot tracking was not the cause.

  • Export File Formatting: Exported files like the Sales Summary now have a smaller, more consistent cell height (closer to 15) for improved readability.

  • Employee PIN Codes: Fixed a bug that was preventing users from setting PIN codes that start with a '0'.

  • Autopull THC/CBD%: Products uploaded with null THC/CBD percentages will now correctly autopull and populate the correct percentage from the master data immediately, without requiring a manual click into the variant detail page.

  • Pricing Group Sync: Resolved an issue where pricing groups were not correctly populating and syncing cost/price details for newly created products that had not yet had inventory added.

  • Purchase Order Lot Tracking: Fixed issues during PO upload where lot tracking settings would incorrectly copy from the previous product to unconfirmed ("gray") products.

  • Tendy Template Lot Tracking Update: You can now disable lot tracking for products using the Tendy Template export/re-upload process by changing the 'Lot Tracking Enabled' value to '0'.

  • Tendy Template Date Format: The "Packaged On Date" field in the Tendy Template now correctly accepts the YYYY-MM-DD format (as well as YYYY/MM/DD) upon re-upload.

  • Pricing Field Scrolling: Prevented accidental changes to price fields in the product variant modal when scrolling with the mouse wheel while the field is selected.

  • Tendy Template Terpene Update: Fixed the requirement that the "Lot Tracking Enabled" column must be present to successfully update Terpenes via the Tendy Template import.

  • Image Starring/Display: Resolved a bug where hero images were not correctly displaying on the e-commerce product page, even when starred.

  • Transfers with Disabled Lots: When transferring a product with lot tracking disabled, the system will now display the actual lot number instead of the message "lot is disabled".

  • Customer Segmentation Analytics: Resolved the bug causing the Customer Segmentation report to display no data for affected merchants.

POS

  • Price Change Validation Loop: Corrected an issue where a price change in the Admin Panel would cause a validation error loop in the POS, preventing budtenders from adding more than one unit to the cart or updating the price correctly. Now, after the initial validation, the system should allow adding items at the updated price and quantity.

  • Deleted User Access: Fixed an issue where a deleted user account was still able to perform actions on the POS if they were already logged in.

IMPORTANT: To ensure that these updates are properly reflected on your system, please note that you may need to clear your browser’s cache. If you require assistance, please contact Tendy Support and we’ll be happy to assist.
