We’re constantly striving to improve your Tendy experience and this month, we’ve got some exciting new updates and fixes on the way. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:
New Features & Enhancements
Dashboard
Category requirement added for Green Purchase Order Products: The Purchase order process now considers Category to be a required field, and PO’s will not be completable until all products have been categorized.
Tendy Template Exports: Merchants can now select specific fields to export, including new columns for Fulfilment Time, Long Descriptions, Case Size, and multiple product images.
Optional Terpene Fields: To streamline product entry, the Terps (%) field is now optional when creating new products or lots.
Dynamic Sorting: Added the ability to sort promotions by Start Date and Expiry Date to help retailers distinguish between active and expired campaigns.
Inventory Overview Navigation: Added functionality to quickly navigate to product details from the inventory overview with a single click.
POS
Enhanced Location Selection: Large multi-store organizations can now locate their stores more easily, as the location list on the sign-in screen is now sorted alphabetically (A-Z).
Device Visibility: Finished orders and printed receipts now display the specific POS device label, making it easier to track which station processed a transaction for end-of-day reporting.
Reporting
Inventory Snapshot Totals: New "Totals" rows have been added to the Inventory Snapshot for Stock quantity, Total Cost, Absolute Profit, and Retail Value.

Insights
Default Date Range: The Business Insights Overview now defaults to the current date rather than a one-week view.

POS
Printer Connectivity: Fixed a bug where the app would crash if a printer was disconnected or powered off while trying to print a chit.
POS Loyalty Refund Wording: Updated the copy when refunding orders with loyalty to correctly indicate when points are taken from or given back to a customer.
Windows Kiosk mode: The Windows build will no longer break if being put into Kiosk mode.
Dashboard
Allow search by SKU for loyalty: The product selection modals for Loyalty earning and redemption settings will now allow a user to search by SKU correctly.
Purchase Order Totals: Corrected the calculation for Total Cost in ASN/AGLC uploads to ensure it correctly includes shipping and taxes.
Category-Based Discounts: Hid the category option to resolve an issue where category-based discounts would result in a $0.00 value when applied on the POS.
Lot Date Mismatch: Resolved an issue with lot dates displaying differently on the adjust inventory page and the Product detail page.
LGCA Report: Fixed an issue in this report that resulted in multiple lines for the same subcategory and GTINs.
Cannabis fields required for Accessories: Resolved an issue that resulted in certain product creation flows asking for Cannabis details with Accessory compliance type selected.
Category-level tax application: Fixed an issue resulting in Category-level taxes not being applied to variant products.
