March 2026 - Release Notes

Updated over 3 weeks ago

We’re constantly striving to improve your Tendy experience, and this month, we’ve got some exciting new updates and fixes on the way. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

New Features & Enhancements

Dashboard

  • Multi-Business Brand Profiles: Merchants can now create unique Brand Profiles for different locations. Each profile supports its own company logo, primary/secondary colours, and browser favicon.

  • Custom Per-Brand Domains: You can now configure unique website URLs and Google Analytics Tracking IDs for each individual Brand Profile.

  • New Security Permissions: Three new granular permissions have been added: "Can create inventory transfers," "Can pull compliance reports," and "Can edit business brand profiles".

  • Enhanced SEO Management: SEO information, including sitemap downloads, has been moved directly into the brand profile section to keep website settings organized by brand.

POS

  • Dynamic Branding: The POS login screen now displays the Brand Profile name alongside the location (e.g., "Downtown Store - Lux Leaf") to help staff identify the correct profile.

  • Brand-Specific Receipts: Printed and digital receipts will now automatically pull the logo assigned to that specific location’s Brand Profile.

  • Kiosk UI Skinning: Kiosk mode now updates its visual theme (buttons, headers, and backgrounds) based on the colours defined in the Brand Profile.

Reporting

  • End of Day Starting Float Log: The vault now automatically creates a log entry for any discrepancy between "Tomorrow's Float" (entered the previous day) and the actual starting float entered when opening a shift.

Ecomm

  • E-commerce Checkout Clarity: Improved the checkout UI to clearly notify users if they are logged out and provide clear options to log in, sign up, or continue as a guest to avoid missing loyalty points.

Bug Fixes

Insights

  • Inventory Snapshot Timing: Snapshots are now aligned to occur at midnight based on the specific location's timezone to ensure accuracy for stores staying open past midnight.

POS

  • Payment Double-Counting: Resolved a bug where payments were being recorded twice in the expected value if an order was started on one day and completed on another, with scan to verify enabled.

  • Scan to Verify (Last Unit): Fixed an issue where scanning to verify would fail for the final product in a lot because the system disabled the lot too early.

  • Customer Profile Switching: Resolved a rare issue where a customer profile on an online order could incorrectly change to the Budtender processing it.

  • Windows UI Jitter: Fixed a bug where the customer list view would "jump" or jitter when editing name fields on Windows devices.

IMPORTANT: To ensure that these updates are properly reflected on your system, please note that you may need to clear your browser’s cache. If you require assistance, please contact Tendy Support and we’ll be happy to assist.
