Tendy Release Notes - June 2026

We are constantly striving to improve your Tendy experience, and this month, we have some exciting new updates and fixes on the way. Here is a quick look at what is coming:

New Features & Enhancements

POS

  • Enhanced Cash Management Visibility: Going to the Cash Management page now displays an additional row highlighting Current Cash, Cash Sales, Card Sales, and Total Sales at a glance. The new Current Cash metric dynamically calculates your expected till balance. Cash Sales and Card Sales are your earnings for those payment types and Total Sales is the total earnings for the day.

  • One-Click Cash Drawer Control: Added a dedicated Open Drawer button in cash management.

  • Cash Movements Wording change: The actions have been streamlined to Transfer Out (moving cash from the drawer to the vault), Transfer In (moving cash from the vault to the drawer), and Pay Out.

  • Optimized Order Cancellation Flow: When canceling an order at the POS, the system will no longer print an unnecessary extra "cancel chit" receipt, reducing paper waste and administrative clutter.

Dashboard

  • Lot Tracking Flexibility on Product Creation: You are no longer forced to generate or input a lot number when initially creating a new product.

  • Refined Product Confirmation Alerts: When confirming a product inventory item under Purchase Orders, the confirmation window message has been updated to explicitly state that the product will immediately go live and sellable on your store.

Ecommerce

  • Moving Strain Filter above Weight filter: Based on shopper preferences, the Strain filter (Indica, Sativa, Hybrid) has been moved above the weight filter on your E-commerce site so customers can browse by strain type first.

Hardware Integration

  • Star TSP100 Series Image Printing: Included compatibility with TSP 100 Series printers.

Bug Fixes

POS

  • Partial Refund Loyalty Deductions: Partial refunds removed all earned points. If you finished refunding the rest of the order more points would be deducted than earned.

  • 0-Inventory Lot Adjustments: Resolved a limitation where depleting a specific product lot down to 0 units completely locked employees out of selecting or changing to an alternative active lot. Lots can now be freely adjusted when needed.

Dashboard

  • Multi-Tab Session Stability: Resolved a bug where opening the Admin app across multiple browser tabs caused session expiration errors, missing locations, or unstable automatically-expiring login states. Changing a location in one tab will now behave smoothly without corrupting active browser sessions.

  • Duplicate Employee Emails: Fixed an registration glitch where creating a new employee account inadvertently dispatched two duplicate setup emails, one of which contained an invalid token link.

  • Persistent Customer Profiles: Fixed a user interface bug in the Customer List where checking a profile with no last name would accidentally display the last name of the previously viewed customer. Additionally, customers will no longer erroneously repeat across multiple pages of the list view.

Ecommerce

  • Subcategory Terpene Filtering: Corrected an e-commerce catalog mapping bug where the "Specific Terpenes" filter returned no results if your inventory items were organized entirely inside subcategories under a parent category.

  • Accurate Delivery Time Expectations: Fixed an issue where E-commerce checkouts and order status windows displayed specific time-slot estimates even when the delivery administration was configured to an "ASAP" timeline. The interface will now cleanly state "ASAP" to avoid misrepresenting exact delivery arrival times to your customers.

  • Location Select Modals: Fixed a disruptive store selection loop where pressing "Continue" on the current store storefront threw an unhandled warning stating that the customer was already at that location.
