Understanding location settings

From your stores address to your stores hours, you want your customers to know where your stores are.

In the location settings there is a quick link to the stores ecommerce at the location you are currently looking at. This helps you access the store quickly and conveniently.

The first section right below the link is the locations business information.

  • Name

    • The name of the store location (such as the city or town)

  • Brand profile

    • If there are multiple brands you would have the ability to choose between multiple profiles.

  • Location slug

    • You are able to create and change the locations slug but its best to not change this after initially setting it. This will help prevent confusion with customers.

  • Phone

    • This will be the phone number listed on your ecommerce so that customers can call

  • Email

    • This will be the email that receives information from the admin and the email that customers can contact listed on the ecommerce help section

  • Retail license Number

    • Compliance requirements need the retail license number and this will be visible on the ecommerce footer under CRSA #

  • Tax ID

    • This will appear on your receipts

  • Time zone

    • Determines the time zone that everything in the admin will be calculated. Also affects the website and POS

There is an Active toggle, this will turn the location on or off. If you only have one location this will be on.

The Address section directly below the location information has all the necessary fields for address but needs the address to be chosen from the google drop down.

The Google Business Profile will redirect customers anytime they press the address link on the website from the direct address to the business profile on google maps. This improves visibility and understanding on the map.

To receive the proper link you need to go to google maps and find your business profile. Once you are at the business profile, press the share button and copy the link there. The format should be https://maps.app.goo.gl/XXXXXX

Finally on the right side are the Store hours. The check mark determines whether the store is open on the specific day. The store hours start time and end time are able to roll over to the next day as long as the hours do not overlap. For example: you are able to have an end time at 2 am as long as the start time is past 2am the next time.

Please abide by your provinces compliance requirements.
