We’re continually working to improve your experience, and we’ve got some new updates and fixes on the way. Here’s a quick look at what was released on October 7th:
New Features & Improvements
Streamlined Experience: The "Perks And Rewards" section will no longer appear if you’re not part of a membership.
Better Product Tiles for Accessories: Accessory images in the online store will now be properly centred.
Improved Inventory Management: New updates to the Inventory Log for a smoother user experience on the dashboard.
More Customizable Pricing Options: We’ve added a margin option for pricing settings to give you more control.
Enhanced Reorder Reports: We've included case size in the re-order reports and can now suggest your minimum # of cases to order based on the Minimum Suggested Order / Case Size.
Save Confirmation: When editing products, we’ll now ask if you want to save changes before exiting.
Detailed and Simple Card Count options: A budtender can now expand or collapse the card count while ending the day to switch between one card total, and online vs terminal card totals.
Licensed Producer Insights: Tendy will now display Licensed Producers in your sales summary by product and when editing products.
License Provider will be automatically assigned to uploaded products (currently Ontario merchants only)
For older products, the licensed provider must be manually inputted from the product list edit view
Sales Summary Report Improvements: Sales summaries by day and totals for each column after running a report are now available.
Auto-Archiving Improvements: auto-archiving timing has been changed to archive a lot after 120 days of inactivity.
Create Product Improvements: Can create products in advance of a Purchase Order without lot information using the autofill feature so that all you need to do is upload your file, enter lot-specific THC and CBD values, and that product is ready to sell.
Mark As Complete Step removal: On in-store orders, you will no longer be asked to mark these orders as complete. They will be auto-completed when payment is taken and the receipt step is passed
All Category UX Improvement: We’re experimenting with the placement of the All Product category based on user feedback. It can now be found on the left of the categories as the first category
Total Invoiced Definition Updates
Total invoiced has been removed from the sales summaries, and end of day reports
Total Receipts has replaced it with a new calculation
End of Day Summary:
Total Receipts should be equal to each payment type summed.
Total Receipts includes taxes & fees and is reduced by all forms of discounting.
Sales Summary Reports:
Total Receipts = The total amount of money received from all sales transactions over a specific period. This includes all forms of payments received, such as cash, credit/debit card transactions, and any other forms of payment accepted by the business.
Like End of Day, total receipts should be equal to each payment type summed and should include taxes & fees, with no discounting.
Bug Fixes
Member Insights Fixed: Resolved issues with member details in the insights section.
Inventory Adjustment Fixes: We’ve addressed issues resulting from entering negative numbers when doing an inventory audit and adjustment
Accessory Product Requirements: Updates made to remove cannabis-related requirements for accessory products when uploading a Tendy template
Inventory Accuracy: You’ll no longer be able to double inventory on non-lot tracking products.
Edibles Pricing Fix: The non-solids edible price markup issue has been resolved to correctly set prices.
End of Day Timing Issues: Fixed discrepancies in end-of-day timing reports for payments.
Order Timing Consistency: Sales summary by order timing issues in certain time zones have been corrected.
THC and CBD Purchase Order Issues: Fixed an issue that caused CBD’s to default to ranges when uploading 0 CBD values via packlist file. Also fixed issues with the ASN not allowing the THC and CBD to be uploaded from the file.
Frequently Ordered: Loading time should be improved
Exit product detail page: It will now be easier to press the X and get back to the product list
