How do I add a Holiday or Event through the Merchant Dashboard?

Setting up Holidays or Events for your Tendy Store

The Holidays tab listed under the Locations Setting category allows you to input Holidays and unique events where your regular business hours are affected, or if your store is closed on that day. All special holidays and events that you add will appear on this screen which can then be sorted by holiday name, start or end dates. To add a holiday, tap on the + button and a “New Holiday” window will appear for you to input the following information:

  • Holiday Name

  • Description

  • Start Date

  • End Date

  • Active (enables holiday)

If the holiday is scheduled to only last one day, you will be prompted to specify the store’s hours of operation for that day, otherwise you can toggle the slider switch to OFF to mark the store closed for that day. If however, the holiday is scheduled to span across two or more days, you will need to specify the business hours for each day, or mark them as closed, if applicable.

Lastly, to save your holiday, tap on the SAVE button and it will appear on your holiday list. Tapping on the holiday from your holiday list will allow you to edit the holiday, or delete it from your list of saved holidays.
