How do I sign up a new customer through the Tendy POS app?

To sign up a New Customer, you will need to input the following information into the SIGN UP CUSTOMER section on the CUSTOMERS tab:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Date of Birth (Optional)

If the customer wishes to receive marketing communications, please check the “I want to receive new offers & discounts” box. Next, you will need to confirm with the customer if they prefer to receive notifications via SMS or email, and check mark the option accordingly and once confirmed and signed up, the customer will receive communication to verify their account; through the communication method that they specified. Please note that SMS notifications will require a valid mobile number, and email notifications will require an email address.
