Categories allows you to create and maintain both REGULAR and FEATURED categories for your Tendy store. Regular categories include various parameters such as stock threshold, THC/CBD single or ranged values and measurement unit, applicable tax, compliance type and lot tracking while FEATURED categories allow you to create unique specialty categories such as “Staff Picks”, “Clearance”, etc.
To create a regular category, tap on the CATEGORIES in the left sidebar and the, tap on the + button in the upper-right corner of the Categories screen, and a window will appear allowing you to input the following:
Category Name
Lot Tracking
Category Description*
Color (Hex code value)
Compliance Type
Tax
THC/CBD Value (single or ranged)
THC/CBD Unit
NOTE: Compliance type can be flower, extracts ingested or inhaled, edibles solid or non-solid, non-Cannabis and topicals. THC/CBD values can be single or ranged, and THC/CBD units can be a percentage, mg/g, mg/l, mg, or ml.
