Updating a customer's user information through the Tendy POS app is very easy to do.
First, tap on the CUSTOMERS tab, located along the tap of the screen:
Using the search bar, enter the customer's name, email or phone number for the customer account that you wish to view. Please note that as you begin entering details into this field, the search results will automatically display the nearest matches and you can select the correct user from the list once you see it.
Once you've selected the correct user, you will be shown the CUSTOMER INFO screen.
If you would like to view or update their customer information, tap on the BASIC INFO dropdown section.
If you would like to view or update how they receive notifications from Tendy, tap on Notification Settings.
When making changes to a customer's basic info, please remember that you will need to tap on SAVE CHANGES in order for the update to reflect. The SAVE CHANGES button will change colour from grey to green to indicate that new changes were made to the customer's user information:
IMPORTANT: If updating a customer's email or phone number, please note that the customer will need to verify this information before the updated information is accepted. To send a verification request to the customer, tap on the yellow Send Verification button corresponding to the email or phone number that the customer will need to verify via that form of communication:
Once the information has been verified, a green VERIFIED icon will appear in its place:
