In the event of Internet network outages, please note that Tendy currently does not support Offline Mode, so to prevent your day-to-day operations from being interrupted, we suggest that you ensure that your internet connection at your store is strong and secure.
However, we understand that your internet service can sometimes go down or experience service disruptions beyond your control. In these situations, we recommend the following steps for you to continue to receive orders, during a network outage.
Connecting your printer to the POS Android device directly via a USB connection
Connecting all other devices to the POS either through the tablet, or a USB Hub connected to the tablet directly
If however, you’re facing a temporary service disruption with your internet provider, you can connect your POS tablet to a mobile hotspot network so that it can communicate with the Tendy Dashboard and inventory systems, and your day-to-day tasks will not be interrupted.
