Zebra Scanner is not responsive during setup

If you're trying to set up your Zebra scanner but it is not responsive to your Tendy POS, try following these steps:

  1. Download and install the following Zebra scanner driver file. Please note that you'll need to specify whether your Windows OS is 32-bit or 64-bit. If you're not sure, you can follow the steps outlined here.

  2. IMPORTANT: If you're unable to open the above update file, or you're receiving a system error when attempting to run the downloaded file, please download and install this file first, then try installing the Zebra scanner driver file afterwards.

  3. If prompted that the file may be questionable or potentially blocked by your native Anti-Virus program, select "More Info", then "Run Anyway". (Don't worry, this file is from Microsoft's support website, and is safe to use!)

If after installing the aforementioned file, your Zebra scanner device is still not detected in the Tendy scanner setup, but the scanner doese light up, try using your scanner to scan the following barcode to revert your scanner back to default settings:
