How do I park a Customer Order?

The Parked-Pending column allows you to pause an existing customer order. This is ideal to use if an in-person customer has items added to the POS basket but is not ready to checkout for whatever reason. By parking the customer’s order, you’ll be able to tend to another customer and process their purchase without having to cancel the previous customer’s basket. All Parked-Pending orders can be completed at a later time when the respective customer is ready to checkout their order.

To park an order, tap on the three (3) green dots in the upper right corner of the customer basket and a drop-down menu will appear. Park Order allows you to park the current order displayed. From here, you can also change the customer to view or add to their basket by tapping on CHANGE CUSTOMER, and then inputting their name, phone number or email address in the search bar. Once you’ve parked the basket, it will automatically appear in the Parked-Pending column. By default, orders will be displayed newest or most recently placed order first.
