Badges are trophies that you can create to commemorate your customers’ specific achievements such as shopping milestones and activities. This will keep your customers regularly active and engaged with your store as they hunt and collect these unique awards for their collection. Please note that badges can be strictly cosmetic, or reward customers with bonus points.
To create a badge, select the BADGES tab on the MEMBERSHIP screen and then tap on the + button and a New Badge popup window will appear. On the GENERAL tab on this window, you will need to input the following information:
Badge Threshold Type allows you to determine if the badge is awarded when a customer completes a specific action, or meets a purchase requirement. Selecting a specific threshold type will display an additional field that you will need to specify.
Threshold is where you will input the value of the Threshold Type that you specified.
Date Range Restrictions allows you to specify whether the badge is a limited time badge, or has no restrictions to achieve. This allows you to create special seasonal or special event badges.
Badge Rewards lets you define if the badge is purely cosmetic, or includes point rewards for the customer reaching that achievement.
No. of Time Earnable allows you to specify how many times the badge can be earned by a customer
Name allows you to create a name for the badge that really stands out and gets customers excited to collect. Badge names are typically fun, witty, tongue-in-cheek names; usually a play-on-words relating to the badge milestone that is achieved by the customer.
Description allows you to provide a description of the achievement to help your customers understand how they achieved the badge, or can achieve the badge.
Next, tap on the ICON tab on the New Badge popup window and you’ll be able to select an image that will represent your badge visually.
Tendy has preloaded badge images that you can select but you can also upload your own badges using the upload field on this window. IMPORTANT: Please note that a badge image must be a minimum of 1300 x 1300 px in size.
Once you have inputted all the necessary information to create your new badge, tap on the SAVE button and your new badge will now appear on your badges list on the previous screen
